Beth Israel beach services bring out community

Beth Israel continued its annual summer tradition of Kabbalat Shabbat services on the beach on Friday, August 18. Rabbi Michael L. Feshbach and Cantor Rhoda J. Harrison led the service on the Huntington Avenue beach in Margate, N.J. The service was open to the community. For over 30 years, the beach service has been a tradition at Beth Israel, which was the first area congregation to offer it.
