Atlanticare Sites Impacted by Winter Storm Adjusting Hours, Services

Due to the winter storm hitting the region, AtlantiCare is adjusting hours and operations for some of its programs and services. Members of the community can view services impacted in the five-county area AtlantiCare serves on the organization’s Weather Alert page. As of 3 PM Monday, January 3, they include the following for Monday, January 3:

·         AtlantiCare Behavioral Health is seeing patients through telehealth visits only. Those in an emergency or crisis situation should call 911 or the following New Jersey Department of Human Services-designated screening service hotlines:

o   Atlantic County – 1-609-344-1118

o   Burlington County – 1-609-835-6180

o   Camden County – 1-856-428-4357

o   Cape May County  – 609-475-5999

o   Ocean County – 1-866-904-4474 or 1-732-886-4474

·         AtlantiCare Clinical Labs non-hospital locations are closed.

·         AtlantiCare Physician Group (APG) Primary Care offices are seeing patients through telehealth only.

·         APG Cardiology offices

Endocrinology is seeing patients through telehealth only.

·         APG Neurology is seeing patients through telehealth only.

·         APG Rheumatology is seeing patients through telehealth only.

·         AtlantiCare’s Cancer Care Institute locations in Egg Harbor Township and Cape May Court House are closed.

·         AtlantiCare’s LifeCenter is closed.

·         AtlantiCare’s LIFE Connection program of all-inclusive care for the elderly is closed, but available to participants for emergencies by phone.

·         AtlantiCare Surgery Center locations in Cape May Court house, Egg Harbor Township, and Little Egg Harbor are closed.

·         AtlantiCare Urgent Care sites in Atlantic City, Berlin, Cape May, Manahawkin, Marlton, and Tuckerton are closed. For telemedicine appointments please call 1-833-692-7436 

·         Jefferson Neurosurgery outpatient office at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City Campus is closed.

·         The William L. Gormley AtlantiCare HealthPlex in

Atlantic City and on Jimmie Leeds Road, Galloway are closed.

The list of impacted programs and services is subject to change. AtlantiCare is contacting those with procedures and office visits who are impacted. It encourages anyone experiencing an emergency, including symptoms of a heart attack or stroke, to dial 911.
