The City of Atlantic City’s first annual Daddy Daughter Sneaker Ball on Friday, April 4, 2025 at All Wars Building drew a large turnout as fathers got to spend an eloquent evening with their daughters in grades K-8. Attendees entering the venue got to walk the red carpet before being greeted by paparazzi. They then enjoyed a night of dinner and dancing, along with a photo booth, raffles and mocktails.

Attendees were encouraged to dress in fashionable attire while wearing sneakers for comfort. The Atlantic City Recreation division organized this event with the assistance of the Atlantic City Youth Services division, Atlantic City Reentry Services division and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events.

“This was an unforgettable experience for area dads, allowing them to not only spend quality time with their daughters but have some fun at the same time,” said Atlantic City Recreation Director Mike Griffin. “Community gatherings like this are extremely important. The Recreation division is known for organizing sporting activities, but we received great support from Mayor Small and our fellow Health and Human Services divisions so we could think outside the box and put together an event like this that will give these families memories that will last a lifetime.”

Food and prizes were donated by various local organizations and businesses.
