Angela Burton Collects Rain Boots for Children

Atlantic City icon and former Club Harlem singer, Angela Burton is collecting Rain Boots for Children through her non-profit organization, Creative Multi Media.

Recently, Burton was surprised by the Casino Dealer Academy in Northfield. Upon entering, owner, Angel Jones presented a Rain Boots for Children display with balloons and dozens of children’s rain boots, all to be donated to Burton’s charity. Cathy Burke, owner and proprietor of the Irish Pub in Atlantic City, has also shown immense support for Burton’s cause.

Creative Multi Media’s 2021 Tri-State Black History Awards is scheduled for Saturday, July 31st.

The 2020 Awards Show was postponed to this date, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The venue has not yet been determined.

However, the summer date will allow for an outdoor venue, increasing its capacity for live performances.

The 2019 event, held at the All Wars Memorial Building in Atlantic City was sold out.  The event honored the Philadelphia soul group The Delfonics, Mayor Marty Small Sr., Atlantic City NAACP chapter President and 3rd Ward Councilwoman Kaleem Shabazz, former Councilman William “Speedy” Marsh and Brooklyn, New York-based R&B and hip-hop group Full Force.

If you would like to donate to Rain Boots for Children, you can send children’s rain boots or check made out to Creative Multi Media, P.O. Box 1678, Atlantic City, NJ  08404
