Absecon Lighthouse Presents “Live Well AC Farmers Market,” Every Other Tuesday July & August, 4-7PM

events and happenings

Absecon Lighthouse, New Jersey’s tallest and the country’s third tallest masonry light, will host “Live Well AC Farmers Market,” on Tuesdays, July 12 & 26, and August 9 & 23 from 4-7pm.  Local Atlantic City CROPS will be on hand for the 7/26 & 8/23 markets.  The mission of CROPS is to make sure all “Atlantic City residents have the same opportunities to eat—and even grow—their own fresh vegetables in one of the region’s biggest food deserts.”

The Live Well Farmers Markets will feature a variety of vendors, and here’s the good news!  Vending spaces are free if vendors sign up for all four Farmers Markets, and only $25 for a spot at one or more.  Vending applications are available at www.abseconlighthouse.org  Absecon Lighthouse is home to the 1st Ward Community Garden of 21 beds, sponsored by AtlantiCare.  A FREE YOGA session sponsored by The Leadership Studio will be offered at each event beginning at 5:30pm.  Let’s live well together in our seaside community, and enjoy summer together!  Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy our 2-acre lawn & gardens.

Farmers Market Vendor spaces are first come first served, and vendors supply their own tent, tables, and chairs.  For information on becoming a vendor please visit www.abseconlighthouse.org
