Sheriff Eric Scheffler has announced the retirement of Clerk III Supervisor Sherri Giberson after 38 years of service to Atlantic County. Giberson began her career as a typist and still holds the record for most words typed in a minute. As years passed Sherri worked her way up through the ranks to her current position of Supervisor III.
“I cannot tell you how much she will be missed” Scheffler said. He continued by saying over the years Sherri has helped thousands of people navigate their way through the Civil Process System that can be very confusing.
In her retirement, Giberson who resides in Egg Harbor Township with her husband George, plans to spend time visiting her daughter, husband and granddaughter who reside in Texas.
