The Covid-19 Pandemic has devastated businesses and organizations across the country. They have suffered the loss of employees, volunteers, and have faced severe financial deficits. The Humane Society of Atlantic County needs support from our community during this untelling time of crisis. If you are not familiar with the humane society, they run strictly on donations to keep their facility up and running to support animals throughout our county. February is right around the corner, a month that aspires us to show extra gratitude towards our loved ones. Advocating for and managing our pet’s health is just one way to show how much we love them. While there is a range of veterinary clinics and hospitals in the Atlantic County area, many pet parents prefer to bring their furbabies to the Humane Society of Atlantic County. In addition to the pawsome vet services, the humane society also serves as a place of surrender and shelter for homeless pets. Sheltered cats and dogs rely on these vet services to get their medical clearance so that they can find their furever home. The Humane Society of Atlantic County is holding a “Show us your love” pet photo contest fundraiser, running through February 14, 2021. Instead of scrolling through Instagram, scroll through the pet contest photos and vote for your favorite photo, or better yet, enter your pet! Photo contest submissions require a 10 dollar donation fee, and votes cost one dollar; 100 percent of the proceeds support their veterinary services. Whether you decide to cast your votes or enter your pet as a contestant, participating in this fundraiser is a great way to get to know some of the cute furry friends in our community. You may even spot two local Atlantic County lake pups ( Ava and Chichi) strutting their paws in the contest. There will be three photo contest winners as well as voter participation prizes. Get your tails moving, your paws voting, and show your love to the Humane Society of Atlantic County veterinarians and their furry friends! Thank you for supporting a great cause.
