Spinach has a ton of antioxidants and nutrients that fight the damage from free radicals that cause cancer. It’s been proven that this green leafy vegetable fights cancer cells. Spinach contains potassium and manganese too. Maintaining a healthy heart and regulating blood pressure and pulse rate.
Your digestive system will thank you as all bowel movements will be healthy and normal. Because your bowels are improved, this means you release all toxins easier in a healthy way through the fecal matter. Spinach is also a diuretic which means you’ll urinate more often. Toxins move out through urine as well.
Spinach has lots of iron. It prevents anemia. For every 100 grams you consume you will receive the daily needs of 15% iron.
The zinc and magnesium in this green leaf relaxes you, soothing the mind and body. Spinach also speeds up metabolism to help with weight loss. While spinach has lots of vitamins and minerals, it does not have many calories.
Perhaps best of all, spinach slows down the aging process. Because of its high antioxidants, your skin becomes smooth, firm, and not prone to lines and wrinkles.
Spinach also soothes any irritation and swelling in the body. It cools the skin and reduces unpleasant tight swellings. The vitamins in spinach nurture the skin layer too.
