Here’s the Skinny on The Modern Gentlemen playing at Resorts Superstar Theater select dates through August 30, 2019.
The Modern Gentlemen were “the voices behind Frankie Valli over the past decade!” In fact it was Frankie Valli who brought these four talented singers together.
They’ve performed all over the world on the biggest stages, from multiple performances at the Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra, to two stints on Broadway, and performances in Asia, Canada, Europe, Israel, Australia and New Zealand.
The Modern Gentlemen have shared the stage with many of the groups and artists whose works they so brilliantly perform, including the Beach Boys.
Now the Skinny. When the curtain opened, I saw something you do not see often in Atlantic City revue shows…It was a live band. The 70 minute setlist incorporated classic mega hits from the Four Seasons, Beach Boys, Motown the Beatles and an acapella performance.
To perform the songs the Modern Gentlemen perform require four part harmony and these four perform four part harmony to perfection. You will be mesmerized by their take on the Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and the four seasons, and in fact, with every song in the set. They demonstrate incredible harmonies and strong lead vocals.
During their performance Landon, Todd and brothers Brian and Brandon offer quick entertaining banter showcasing their great personalities.
The extremely tight band all local Atlantic City area musicians, brought it all together even down to the recognizable riffs in the songs.
You can currently see the the Modern Gentlemen on the PBS Special, Doo Wop Generations and catch them on their nationwide live concert tour.
