For decades now the good people of AC Cruises have been taking tourists and residents around the island of Atlantic City for sight-seeing, fun and romance.
Each Summer I look forward to my rides on the AC Cruise ship to party, to socialize, network and most recently to relax. One day I went to Gardner’s Basin to enjoy the gentle sea breeze and beautiful view and just decided that I would ride with AC Cruises on their 6pm Happy Hour Trip. I had an amazing time.
So for everyone that loves AC Cruises or never been on the ship here are my top 5 reasons to ride the boat before the weather gets cold.
5. One Of A Kind Views – The ship goes to Brigantine, the docks at Golden Nugget and all around Atlantic City. In short you get to see Atlantic City from a vantage point that can only be seen from the sea.
4. Still Time To Party – My favorite parties every summer as a DJ or someone who loves to dance is with AC Cruises. They have 2 floors, a great dance floor, a serious sound system and you haven’t partied until you partied on a boat.
3. Meet The Captain – One of the coolest things is…if you are nice, the Captain Jeff will let you ride for a while in the area where he steers the ship.
2. See The Dolphins – The residents that most tourists never see visiting Atlantic City is our abundant sea life. AC Cruises offers a daily Dolphin Watch Cruise where the sea mammals are close enough to the see and photograph. Again this is an experience that can only happen courtesy of AC Cruises. You know your kids will remember “that time we saw the dolphins on the boat” forever.
You also know that’s way cool even if the “kid” is in his/her 20’s or 30’s. Watching dolphins with your own eyes beats watching them on your phone on someone’s facebook live video…(trust me..I’m right.)
1. The Sea is Soooo Relaxing. The waves, the ocean breeze …being out on the water watching the sun set. The experience is relaxing if you are alone. If you are with that special someone…or meet someone on the ship? You might find yourself on your own episode of The Love Boat.
Along with those five reasons…you will still be at one of the most exciting and fun places to visit in AC…which is historic Gardner’s Basin. The area offers the world renowned Atlantic City Aquarium with sea creatures from around the world and some only found here in AC. Also at the basin are beautiful places to walk, sit and eat.
