“Let the good times roll again” says Carmen Marotta, production coordinator and talent buyer for the Somers Point Beach Concert Committee. The wildly popular AtlantiCare Concerts on the Beach 2021 are moving forward with dates set for 12 consecutive Fridays beginning July 2nd and concluding September 17th. Two additional concerts are scheduled for July 4th and September 5th. Gary US Bonds, Dane Anthony Band and the Billy Walton Band are just a few of the talents sceduled to play.
With the rate of new COVID-19 cases continuing to fall throughout New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy recently announced the easing of restrictions on both indoor and outdoor gatherings. As of May 10, the limit on outdoor events will rise from 200 persons to 500 persons, and large venues that hold 1,000 persons or more will be able to host events at 50 percent capacity.
“Fingers are crossed that we will continue on this positive track. However, everything is subject to change due to any changes in Covid-19 regulations.
Moving forward, we will do everything we can to make this happen,” says Marotta. “We believe in our hearts and minds that it will be a great summer.”
