Shore Medical Center Names Telemetry Nurse Aide Camiel Cruickshank its May Guardian Angel of the Month
(Somers Point, NJ – May 7, 2019) – Shore Medical Center is proud to recognize Telemetry Nurse Aide Camiel Cruickshank as its May Guardian Angel of the Month for providing passionate and exceptional care to Shore’s patients. The Guardian Angel Program was established to enable members of the community to say thank you to a special Shore caregiver through a donation to the medical center.
Cruickshank started at Shore just six months ago, but in that time she has already developed a reputation of being hard working, dependable, and a team player who treats her patients compassionately and with great care.
Luanne McGroarty BSN, RN-BC, ICU and Telemetry Nurse Manager and Cruickshank’s supervisor, says “Camiel has been a welcome addition to Telemetry, and Shore Medical Center is fortunate to have her as part of the organization.” A patient Cruickshank recently assisted made a donation to Shore Medical Center in her name through its Guardian Angel program. The patient had these words to share:
“Camiel treated me with dignity and showed great patience. She was so pleasant, kind and always had a smile for me. Camiel is a very special person.”Cruickshank resides in Galloway with her 5 year old daughter. In her spare time she loves to read and watch movies.
The Guardian Angel program recognizes anyone who works at Shore Medical Center and makes an impact and difference in your care or experience. Guardian Angels are recognized amongst their peers and are presented with a special Guardian Angel pin at Shore Medical Center’s annual pinning ceremony.
