East Coast Roofing, Siding & Windows is once again giving back to the community that has kept them in business. This year with the 11th Annual Roof Giveaway, the company is donating a new roof to the family of William Battersby of Woodbine, N.J.
Battersby is a former NJ State Park Policeman who is overcoming odds while recovering from a massive stroke on Thanksgiving night. While being able to use the right side of his body has declined, his spirit and motivation to provide for his family and community has not. He even has donated a kidney to a local friend.
Battersby was nominated for the giveaway by his daughter Kacey. She writes that her father is, “the neighborhood mechanic, contractor, tow truck, shoulder to cry on…you name it he will do it for you.”
Clean Lines Painting & Powerwashing in Galloway Township is also providing a refurbished interior for the family.
