English singer-songwriter and guitarist, Dave Mason, performed at the Ocean City Music Pier Tuesday, June 28. The crowd gave him a standing ovation when he walked out on the stage, even before he began to play. Mason is the co-founder of the group Traffic, and also played with Fleetwood Mac. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. One of Mason’s best known songs is “Feelin’ Alright”, recorded by Traffic in 1968
Many also remember him by his 1977 solo hit, “We just disagree,” a staple of adult radio playlists for decades.
