Participants will discover the latest healthy-living trends when they join ShopRite Dietitian Victoria Leach on Thursday, March 12 from 1pm to 3pm at the Katz Jewish Community Center, located at 501 North Jerome Avenue in Margate for a Power Bowl – Cooking with Friends interactive demonstration.
At the event, each person will create their own delicious power bowl using healthy food and ingredients provided by the Somers Point supermarket. In addition, Leach will share information about recent changes to the food labeling system.
Also in March, the JFS Village by the Shore will offer the following events: Memory Café on Tuesday, March 3 from 1pm to 2pm at Zorro’s Pizza in Ventnor; Decoupage 101 on Monday, March 9 from 2pm to 3pm at the JFS in Margate; Coffee Klatch on Thursday, March 19 from 10:30am to 12pm at the JCC in Margate; Memoir Workshop on Friday, March 20 from 11am to 12:30pm at the JCC in Margate; and Lunch Around Town on Tuesday, March 24 from 12pm to 1:30pm at Gilchrist Downbeach in Margate.
Mark your calendar for an afternoon of food, fun and conversation with friends at the Power Bowl event. The cost is $5 for Village by the Shore members and Holocaust Survivors and $10 for non-members.
