Long awaited store to open next month
Many locals rejoiced when they noticed the Target lettering and logo placed on the Somers Point building last week.
The 101,000 square foot store is reported to open mid to late October, according to an employee who was working inside. It will include a CVS, a grocery section and a Starbucks.
Approved by the city last December, the transformation from Kmart has been a slow process.
