Get ready to break out that hideous cable-knit sweater your grandma gave you for Christmas two years ago. You know the one with giant jewels, colorful sequins and glittery Santas adorned on every square inch. On Saturday, December 15th the 2nd Annual Ugly Sweater Tour promises to be the must–do holiday party of the season. Back by popular demand, this year Little Water Distillery will partner with Tennessee Ave Beer Hall, Bourre’, Pic-A-Lilli, and Made to bring you an even more unforgettable evening, guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit. This party tour promises to be a festive night of laughter and entertainment as you travel through the newly revitalized Little Water and Orange Loop Districts.  It’s the perfect excuse to dust off that hideous garment and wear it proudly.

Hitch a ride on the free Jitney that will travel in a continuous loop from the Little Water District to the trendy Orange Loop District on New York, St. James and Tennessee avenues. Starting at 4pm the Jitney will start its journey from Little Water Distillery (located at 807 Baltic Avenue, Unit B) where there will be plenty of free parking, $5 tastings that include sampling of their rums, vodka, and whiskey and of course merchandise for sale including gift baskets, bottles, and Little Water Distillery swag. This is the perfect opportunity to finish up that last-minute Christmas shopping while you party in style. If you miss the Jitney from Little Water Distillery, no worries, you can hop on and off anytime and at any of the stops on the loop from 4-8pm. After you complete the loop, be sure to make it back to Little Water Distillery who will be hosting an epic Christmas karaoke party from 7 –9pm. Everyone who completes the loop will receive a complimentary Christmas ornament once they arrive back.

With every stop on this adventure, you will have the opportunity to try our areas hippest establishments who will be offering specials to all party goers on the tour. One of the stops and the newest addition to the Orange Loop is the very popular Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. They will be offering an amazing assortment of craft beers including 10 Christmas brews including The Mad Elf, Corsendonk Christmas Ale, Tuckahoe Spice Trade (gingersnap cookie) and Stone Xocoveza (Mexican Hot Chocolate). Holiday beers flights will be on special for $10, and all holiday pours will be $1 off. Make sure you bring your cameras as rumor has it that Zombie Santa and his Evil Elves will be showing up hungry for flesh (and mouth-watering burgers, famous Phish Sammys, and variety of kicked up Tater Tots that the Beer Hall offers.). Imagine what your friends will say as you cozy up to Zombie Santa and his Evil Elves for a holiday picture. The perfect holiday selfie for all of your social media pages. The party will continue well into the evening as the popular local music duo Vince and Derek hit the stage at 9 p.m.

Another supercool stop on the tour is Bourre’. Located is an old gentleman’s club and transformed into an industrial New Orleans themed pub, If you haven’t had a chance to check this place out yet, the time is now. Aside from their authentic assortment of Cajun Cuisine, Bourre’ will have on offer some specials you won’t want to pass up. For example, The Dennis Hopper (a 12oz can PBR and a shot of Whiskey) is only $5.  A Tijuana Taxi (a 12oz bottle of corona and a shot of tequila) is only $7. Also, a High Beam, (a 16oz can Miller high life and a shot of Jim Beam) will only cost you $7 and an ACity Wide (a 12oz can founders all day IPA shot of little water distillery whiskey is only $7) Also while you’re there try the pickle backs for only $3 or an appetizer for $5. Bourre’ is also offering an extra 10% off to all of the party-goers on the ugly sweater tour. Also, for all of those Springsteen fans, be sure to stop back at 10pm to check out The E Street Shuffle, who proudly carry the title of “The World’s Greatest Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band.” Bourre’ consistently delivers great eats, drinks, and entertainment.

For those who are chicken wing obsessed, Pic-A-Lilli’s famous wings will be a favorite stop on the tour. Let’s face it, what goes better with an ice-cold beer than a pile of crispy wings tossed in delicious signature sauces and cooked to perfection. Crowned Atlantic City’s premiere dive bar, people travel far and wide to indulge in Pic-A-Lilli’s award-winning wings. With a kitchen open 24 hours a day, you can grab an order while you’re on the ugly sweater tour then come back later for a late-night snack. For all you football fans, Pic-A-Lilli is a local favorite hotspot to watch the game. Although they are devout Pittsburgh Steelers fans, they welcome all friendly rivals to come in and enjoy the game and enjoy some of their mouthwatering wings.

No holiday party would be complete without a little something sweet for the taste buds.  MADE Atlantic City Chocolate Bar’s motto is all you need is love… and chocolate. The chocolatiers/owners at MADE source the highest quality cacao beans from all over the world and roast them right in their Tennessee Avenue location. Add that with the finest ingredients and handmade small batch bars, now you have something extraordinarily special, now you have MADE chocolate. Proudly, MADE is New Jersey’s very first bean to bar chocolate establishment, but MADE isn’t just a place where you can purchase the highest quality chocolate, they also have a bar that serves wine, local brews, and the yummiest chocolate libation creations you have ever tasted. Stop in and try their chocolate martini or an adult chocolate milk. According to their Facebook reviews, people are driving thousands of miles just to try their chocolate creations.

The 2nd annual ugly sweater tour will be the most fun and enjoyable themed holiday event you’ll attend this year! Wear that cheerful polyester Santa pullover with pride as you mix, mingle and admire other party-goers also wearing their extremely festive knitwear. This is the one magical holiday affair you’re not going to want to miss!
