Parents and young children are invited to “leap into March” with a special JPlace Tot Shabbat on leap day, Sat., Feb. 29 at 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Beth Israel, 2501 Shore Road, Northfield, N.J. Rabbi David M. Weis and Education Director Ms. Cookie will lead the children in Shabbat songs, movement activities and a craft. Participants will enjoy a Continental breakfast featuring bagels.
Designed for young children under age seven, JPlace Tot Shabbat introduces the youngest worshippers to Shabbat in a way that is engaging for preschoolers—and relaxing for parents.
