Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival

Bader Field

The Atlantic City Beer & Music Fest is on, celebrating 16 years of craft beer. Over 120 breweries will be featured, with live performances by Knuckle Puck, Less Than Jake, Face to Face, The Early November, Pronoun, Concrete Castles and many others. The festival will be held in the 1.3 million square foot outdoor setting of Bader Field with sessions on Friday from 8pm-12am and Saturday from 12-4pm & 6-10pm. Ventnor Summer Beach Jam

Saturday, June 5th from 5-9pm

Newport Avenue Beach

Join the City of Ventnor for Live music behind the Ventnor Library and Cultural Center. The venue is on the beach and features a playground. Live music begins at 6pm with food and crafts ready to serve you at 5pm. This week, enjoy live music by country rock band One for the Road.

Le Tour de Downbeach Family Bike Ride

Sunday, June 6th at 10am

Newport Ave. & the Boardwalk, Ventnor

Le Tour de Downbeach 12th Anniversary family friendly bike ride is next Sunday (rain date June 13th). Get your posy together for a morning of fun. The family friendly 14 mile bicycle tour begins each year in Ventnor riding down the boardwalk through Atlantic City, a police escort through Margate and Longport, ending with a barbecue at Tomatoes’ restaurant on Amherst Ave. in Margate. Registration begins at 9:30am.

Paddle for a Cause

Saturday, June 12th at 8am

Dorset & Burke Ave. Ski Beach, Ventnor

The Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation presents the 13th Annual Paddle for a Cause. This is an all day event with food, live music, beer garden, fun and vendors. This years event will be held at a new location at Ski Beach in Ventnor. New divisions have been added, including a 22.1 mile around-the-island, Team SUPsquatch, 6 mile short course and 1 mile kids race. Visit thedrcf.org for registration information.

“Brutus” Flounder & Bluefish Tournament

Saturday, June 12th at Daybreak

The 23rd Annual “Brutus” Flounder & Bluefish tournament is on. This is a fundraiser for the Egg Harbor Township Elks Lodge 2563 and Somers Point AMVETS Post 911 supporting veterans and handicapped children’s charities. The tournament will feature $1100 in cash prizes ($500 for 1st) and many non-cash prizes. A free awards banquet will be held at the Elks Lodge at the end of the event. Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs Annual Fishing Challenge

Saturday, June 5th from 10am-12pm

EHT Nature Reserve

Join us for a fun day of fishing and prizes at the EHT Nature Reserve. The goal of this program is to redirect youth from the temptation of drugs, alcohol and tobacco by engaging in socially positive activities like fishing, learning the value of clean water and supporting community service by doing stream clean ups and tree plantings. Prizes will be given for biggest fish, smallest fish and most fish. This program is open to anyone under the age of 20. Hosted by the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife along with the EHT Recreation and the EHT Municipal Alliance.
