Best-selling artist Jackie Evancho was in Ocean City and performed with the Ocean City Pops in a special concert on Sunday, Aug. 27, at the Ocean City Music Pier.
Evancho first dazzled television audiences at the age of 10 as a runner-up on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” Since then, she has released a string of platinum and gold albums with sales of over 2.5 million in the U.S. All six of Jackie’s albums have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Classical chart. She has performed with the Ocean City Pops twice before and has become a local favorite.
