Local Muralist Heather Hires Brings a Mural to Good Dog Bar AC
Good Dog Bar Atlantic City is getting a facelift—in the form of a stunning new public art project on the west side of the building—in anticipation of its 2023 grand opening. Local artist and body and face painter, Heather Hires, is working on a fun and sunny dog-themed mural in the outdoor beer garden of Good Dog Bar, where guests will be able to sit outside with their dogs and enjoy the art come spring. The colorful mural, which captures local dogs doing what local dogs dream about—chilling in the sunshine, catching waves and drinking beer—is the second mural to be installed at Good Dog Bar AC. Earlier this year, a mural of civil rights icons was painted by BK Foxx and Claudio Picasso on the east side of the building.
Hires will be working on the mural through the new year, depending on the weather.
