Frank D. Formica Announces Tuesday March 17 Freeholder Meeting to be Streamed Live

Northfield, NJ  – Thursday, March 12, 2020

Today Frank Formica, Freeholder at Large and Chairman of the Atlantic County Freeholder Board announced that Tuesdays Freeholder Meeting (March 17th, 2020 4 pm, Stillwater Building, 201 S. Shore Road, Northfield, NJ 08225) will be closed to the public out of caution in regards to the Coronavirus.  Tuesday’s meeting will be streamed live and will have the capability for residents to ask a question during the scheduled meeting.

“I have asked our Atlantic County Government IT department to put in place the ability for the general public to participate via live stream, for Tuesday, March 17th’s  Atlantic County Freeholder meeting.  This facility will be in place for the foreseeable future.  I am doing this out of on overabundance of caution in regards to individuals health, but at the same time allowing the general public the opportunity to participate.  I am committed to providing transparency and access to our meetings and to engage the general public in the governance of our County.”  stated Chairman Frank Formica.  Details in regards to how to access the live stream will be posted on the Atlantic County Government Freeholder website   https://www.atlantic-county.org/freeholders/   Meeting agenda and materials can be found on the Freeholder website.
