John R. Elliott HERO Walk & 5K Run

6th Street and the Boardwalk, Ocean City

The John R. Elliott HERO Campaign for Designated Drivers is hosting the 7th Annual HERO Walk to fight drunk driving Sunday, Oct. 29 in Ocean City.

For the first time, the organization is offering a 5K Run as part of the day’s events. Now, instead of just a walking option, the event includes a more competitive run for participants, with prizes for men and women in various age groups.

Both the walk and the run will take off from 6th Street and the Boardwalk, with registration at 8:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Sports and Civic Center, also located at 6th Street and the Boardwalk. The 5K run starts at 9:30 a.m., followed by the walk at 11 a.m.

The HERO Campaign is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use of safe and sober designated drivers. Participants are encouraged to walk in memory of loved ones lost to drunk driving tragedies.

Brigantine Beach Halloween Parade

All are welcome to participate! Line up at the St. Thomas parking lot at 12:30pm. St. Thomas is located on 7th Street South & Brigantine Ave. Parade ends at the 26th Street baseball fields where candy and refreshments will be served.

2017 Atlantic City Tattoo Expo

Otherwise known as “Drawin’ the Wild Card,” The Atlantic City Tattoo Expo will take over the 6th floor ballroom of Bally’s and will be surrounded by casino gaming, amazing eateries and a 1200 room hotel, making this a perfect spot for the 2017 event. 5,000 plus attendees are expected to assemble over the weekend, invading this gaming space for the love of ink and entertainment.

While the main focus of the expo is the opportunity to meet and get tattooed by over 100-plus tattoo artists from around the globe, the expo also offers live entertainment, tattoo contests, seminars, parties, meet and greets and unique exhibitors including a variety of clothing, jewelry and novelty vendors. The event also promises to astonish and amaze with its side-show entertainers and the return of the ever-popular “Stupid $hit People do for Money”! This year’s event will also feature a tattoo artist gallery, fun interactive programs, stage shows and so much more you wan’t want to miss.

The 2017 event will include some of the most popular tattoo “reality” personalities including past and present Ink Master contestants such as favorites Sarah Miller, and James Vaughn, these off- the-wall reality TV tattoo personalities and many others at Bally’s all weekend long.

The Atlantic City Tattoo Expo is open to the public and held in the 6th Floor Ballrooms at the Bally’s Atlantic City, Friday, November 3rd, 5pm-11pm, Saturday, November 4th, 11am-11pm and Sunday, November 5th, 11am-5pm. Admission is $20 for a one-day pass, $35 for a two-day pass and $40 for a three-day pass. Kids under 12 are FREE. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
