Atlantic City Restaurant Week

March 8th – 13th

Before the Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, enjoy kegs + specialty breakfast sandwiches and live music at the world’s largest Topgolf Swing Suite. On this day, March 14th, everyone is Irish. Break out your green and join us for the historic Atlantic City St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the World Famous Atlantic City Boardwalk from Ocean Casino (Rhode Island Avenue) to Tropicana (Morris Avenue).

Brigantine St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Saturday, March 21st at 1pm

The Brigantine St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start at the St. Thomas parking lot on 7th Street South and will end at Veterans Memorial Park on 31st Street. The after party will be held at the Brigantine Elks Lodge at 400 W. Shore Drive featuring a cash bar, bagpipers and DJ Augie Doggie. The event is open to the public; tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

Twelve Tenacious Invasives

The Margate City Recreation Department in conjunction with Sustainable Downbeach welcomes The Galloway Township Environmental Commission’s presentation of the film “Twelve Tenacious Invasives.” The film will provide participants expert guidance about personal plant selection, plants to avoid & plants that encourage butterflies and pollinators, which are critical to a healthy environment. Power Bowl: Cooking with Friends

Participants will discover the latest healthy-living trends when they join ShopRite Dietitian Victoria Leach for an interactive demonstration. At the event, each person will create their own delicious power bowl using healthy food and ingredients provided by the Somers Point supermarket. In addition, Leach will share information about recent changes to the food labeling system. The cost is $5 for Village by the Shore members and Holocaust Survivors and $10 for non-members. The Buffalo Soldiers

Atlantic County Historical Society invites you to our program discussing “The Buffalo Soldiers.” The Buffalo Soldiers were African American members of the US Army during the Civil War who served at remote outposts on the Western frontier. Their main charge was to protect Settlers as they moved west. Light refreshments will be served.

Washington D.C. Old Town Trolley Tour

The Hamilton Township Historical Society will host a bus trip to Washington, D.C. Our day will begin and end at Union Station, which is one of the most visited tourist attractions in D.C. Step aboard an Old Town Trolley with your all-day boarding pass, and sit back while the expert guides help you discover the beauty and majesty of our nation’s capital. This fully narrated two hour tour covers over 100 points of interest. The price of the trip is $110 per person and includes transportation, trolley boarding pass and driver tip. Hudson Valley Historical Sites

Saturday, April 25th & Sunday, April 26th

The Historical Preservation Society of Upper Township, in conjunction with Pary and Bruce Tell, will host a two-day bus trip to historical sites along the Hudson Valley. Enjoy a visit to the Revolutionary War Headquarters of General  Henry Knox and Horatio Gates on the west side of the Hudson River, the New Windsor Cantonment, the Olana House, Clermont Mansion and more. The price of the trip will be $245 per person (with an additional $55 if you’re rooming alone) and includes the bus, all meals (except for breakfast Saturday and dinner on the way home Sunday), the hotel and admission to all sites.
