Absecon Lighthouse Haunted Tours

Come visit the Absecon Lighthouse to hear the true ghost stories that prompted a visit from the SyFy Channel’s Ghost Hunters.  The New Jersey Researchers of Paranormal Evidence (NJ ROPE) will be on property to help you hunt for ghosts. The Atlantic County Institute of Technology Performing Arts Drama Academy seniors are performing the heartwarming comedy, The Curious Savage for one night only. After Ethel P. Savage is institutionalized by her selfish step children and their haste to acquire the family fortune, Ethel wins the hearts of her companions at the Cloisters Sanatorium. Together, they succeed in sending Ethel’s children on a wild goose chase for the money. This tenderhearted tale will leave the audience wondering who the sane ones really are as they learn a lesson about what is important in life. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Christmas Bazaar

The bazaar will feature more than 40 crafters and vendors.  Among the unique crafts are machine knitted hats, scarves and gloves and handmade original hooked rugs.  Additionally, we will have vendors who make holiday decorations and food items that include candy, jellies and dips. We also feature numerous raffles, home baked goods and a White Elephant Room with many gently used treasures. Lunch and dinner are served both days.  The menus include chicken tortellini soup, chili, and a baked ziti dinner on Saturday night.

The parade committee is seeking participants for the parade. The parade had over 60 units in 2016 and will be followed by a block party from 6 to 8pm with vendors, concessions, horseback rides, inflatables and more. Vendors are needed.
