From the gridiron to the big stage, Jon Dorenbos delivers an undeniable “wow factor” with every performance. The former Philadelphia Eagle is returning to South Jersey on August 20th with his highly anticipated “Comin’ In Hot Magic Tour.”

The multidimensional performer is best known by football fans for his 14 years in the NFL, adored by daytime talk show enthusiasts as a beloved guest on Ellen, and celebrated by families everywhere as a world class magician on America’s Got Talent.

However you know Jon Dorenbos, chances are he has touched your heart in a special way. His life story of trauma and triumph is both heartbreaking and inspiring. His story began with the tragic loss of his mother at the hands of his father when Jon was 12 years old. It is that very story and the intense healing that followed that makes Jon Dorenbos a performer in a league of his own.

As Jon explains it, magic saved his life and helped him to find himself. After the loss of his mother, Jon turned to magic as a form of therapy that helped him to cope with the dramatic changes happening in his life. Magic healed Jon in insurmountable ways and it is through magic that he now delivers a message of hope, love, and forgiveness.

As a finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2016, Jon wowed the world with his mind blowing tricks while inspiring them with his unforgettable words. As AGT judge Heidi Klum explains it, “It’s not just the magic. It’s the way you (Jon) move. The way you make us all laugh. The way you make us feel. You inspire us all.”

Ellen Degeneres explains Dorenbos as a “magical person” and says she is proud to call him a friend.

Simon Cowell praises Jon as “A true performer, an American Hero, and a real inspiration.”

Jon Dorenbos has taken his life story, flipped the narrative, and given the world a gift in the form of magic. As a motivational speaker for Fortune 500 companies, Jon has blended his inspiring message of forgiveness with his electrifying magic in a way that leaves audience members both awestruck and hopeful.

Jon retired from football following his trade to the New Orleans Saints, which culminated in an unexpected and extensive heart surgery. He now lives in Huntington Beach, California with his beautiful wife, their two-year-old daughter, and the family dog, appropriately named, Saint.

In 2019, Jon released his first book, Life is Magic, in which he shares his full-circle moment that brought him face-to-face with his father, who he had not seen in 27 years. The best-selling book is now being made into a movie under the production of Michael Tollin, producer of The Last Dance, Radio, Varsity Blues, and many other well known films.

Jon Dorenbos may have had a rocky beginning to this life however, he shares that he is writing his own ending and showing up for it with an open mind every day. Just like in life, Jon explains that “the trick isn’t the end all, be all. It’s the fun that is had along the way.”

Jon’s life mantras are told throughout his jaw dropping show, as he uses magic to remind the audience that in life, we must not hate, not blame, and that forgiveness is where the real magic lies. Fans of Jon Dorenbos are regularly reminded that we have the power to write our own script from this point forward, and to live in the magical power that we all embody.

Whether you take our word for it or Simon Cowell’s, you do not want to miss Jon Dorenbos on August 20th at Borgata in Atlantic City.
