Eagles Make a Comeback in New Jersey

In 1982, just one pair of eagles was known to be nesting in New Jersey. Today they are nesting in all 21 counties! This is believed to be due to both the hard work of wildlife conservationists and the elimination of DDT, a chemical insecticide.
