This Year’s Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival Rocks
the Convention Center for an Unforgettable Two Days of Fun

Going Places with Dina Guzzardo

The Atlantic City Beer and Music Fest taking place on March 29th & 30th in a A.C. Convention Center is the must attend event in Atlantic City and has gained cult popularity over the last 14 years. The mastermind and executive producer behind Good Time Tricycle Productions, Jon Henderson, has exploded the popularity of this epic event, giving it not only the well-deserved consistent spot in the top three Best Beer Festivals in the country voted by USA Today readers but it also holds the honor of being the Largest Beer and Music Festival on the east coast. This achievement did not come without years of hard work, imagination, innovation, and a spark of genius (not to mention Jon’s passion for a finely crafted beer, an ear for the most on trend musical acts, and an unquenchable thirst for an amazing time). When the Beer Festival first opened its doors 14 years ago, they enjoyed the company of 3,000 likeminded beer and fun enthusiasts, fast forward to present day this festival has caught on fire, hosting 23,000 beer loving, fun loving, and music loving fans each year. But Jon couldn’t have done it without his remarkably talented team who work tirelessly all year long adding some of the top names in the craft beer industry to guarantee each and every guest has the experience of their lives.

So, here is what you can expect at this year’s mind-blowing event. First and foremost, it’s about the beer. Festival goers in 2019 will see nearly 600 different beers from 150 breweries. This event truly is a libation nirvana right in our own backyard. Not only will guests have the opportunity to experience the most heavenly craft beers from both local breweries and from across the nation, but they will also have the rare opportunity to speak in detail to the brew masters about their particular brews and the particular characteristics of their libation creations. Beer enthusiasts are sure to walk away with more of a passion and understanding of the particular idiosyncrasies that goes into their beer.

Another colossal draw of this spectacular event is the music, so much so that in 2011 they added “music” to the name of the event. Music enthusiasts have the opportunity to enjoy three amazing musical sessions and nine incredible bands spread over two days. Visitors can enjoy musical genres from Alternative and Indie Rock to Reggae to Latin and Pop Punk from major acts like The Used, SOJA, and The Wonder Years. These acts are big time acts with literally millions of followers. Session one takes place on March 29th from 8pm – 12am where The Used, Can’t Swim, and latewaves will take place on stage. Session two will be on March 30 from 12pm – 4pm and includes the musical sounds of SOJA, Iya Terra, and Sensamotion, and the final session of the musical series will take place on March 30th from 6pm – 10pm where The Wonder Years, Have Mercy, and Save Face will close the show with a blast!

All this excitement and fun could work up quite an appetite. No problem, this festival has you covered. Enjoy delicious grub from a large selection of local eateries including Bourre, Chickie’s & Pete’s, Broadway Burger Bar, The Continental, The Cow and The Curd, Earnest & Son, Harry’s, Guys Bar-B-Que Joint, Tony’s Baltimore Grill, & Veracruz.

As if a vast selection of brews, a stellar musical line up, and incredible delicious cuisine was not enough this spectacular event also delivers side shows, interactive activities, competitions, scavenger hunts, shopping, culinary demonstrations, educational seminars, and some “off the wall” activities. You’re invited to enjoy a free play arcade, hot wing eating contests, buzzed yoga, larger-than-life corn hole, Silent Disco, hatchet throwing, keg tossing and so much more. Also, make sure you check out the massive, official after-party will kick off following Session 3 inside the Wild Wild West Casino at Bally’s!

Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets right away. Although Designated Driver tickets are unlimited, this event has sold out for the last nine years, so don’t wait!
