30th ANNUAL SUPER BOWL TAILGATE PARTY

The Chief Arthur R. Brown, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s Thirtieth Annual Super Bowl Pre-Party, hosted by Former Senator Chris Brown, will take place on Super Bowl Sunday. Tickets are $20 and include a buffet, a free mug with $1.00 beverage refills, and door prizes. Proceeds benefit the Foundation which to date has awarded over $347,000 in scholarships and financial aid to South Jersey residents. Some of the charities donated to include the SPCA, Boys & Girls Club of AC, Dorrington Ice Hockey Foundation, Vest-A-Cop, Hackney Swim, Atlantic County Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America and the A.C.B.P. Classic boat races.
All of this takes place, Sunday, February 13, 2022; 2 pm until 6 pm at Dock’s Oyster House, 2405 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ
Cost is $20; Tickets can be purchased at the door.
History of the Chief Arthur R. Brown Jr. Memorial Scholarship Foundation
The Foundation was established in 1992 in honor of Arthur R. Brown, Jr., former Chief of the Atlantic City Beach Patrol. The goal of the Foundation is to provide scholarship tuition and other assistance to deserving local individuals and organizations. The scholarship recipients are selected based upon scholastic achievement and demonstrated financial need. The Foundation expanded in 1995 to honor William D. Fox, a former Atlantic City lifeguard and police officer, who passed away in 1994. In 1999, the Foundation expanded to honor the memory of Samuel “Sonny” Schwartz by donating to the “Dorrington” Hockey Foundation and Gilda’s Club. In 2005, the Foundation expanded again to honor the memory of Officer Thomas J. McMeekin of the Atlantic City Police Department, who died in the line of duty. Tom was also a former lifeguard. To date, through the generosity of the local community, the Foundation has awarded over $347,000 in scholarships and financial aid to individuals in the South Jersey community. Donations have also been made to the SPCA, Boys & Girls Club of AC, Vest-A-Cop, Hackney Swim, Atlantic Co.
