In celebration of National Meatball Day on Monday, March 9th, Carmine’s, located in The Quarter at Tropicana Atlantic City, hosted a special two-hour promotional event and sold 132 meatballs with proceeds benefiting Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties.

“We were thrilled to be selected as the agency to benefit from Carmine’s National Meatball Day event. Patrons enjoyed the opportunity to taste their handcrafted meatballs with proceeds supporting JFS.  When community businesses find unique ways to support JFS, it is always appreciated,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer.

For just $1 each, patrons indulged on the gigantic, homemade veal and beef meatballs covered in marinara sauce and sprinkled with parmesan cheese. They raised $132 and Carmine’s matched the donation for a total of $264 which will support the programs and services at JFS.
