Awards, Flowers and Treats at Beth Israel Sunday School Celebration

Beth Israel Sunday School students concluded a year of studies on May 8 with a morning filled with activities and a year-end awards ceremony. Students were recognized for perfect attendance, participation, and extra effort. The sixth-grade class received graduation awards, and the synagogue recognized its teachers and madrichim (high school helpers).
Throughout the morning, students planted flowers in pots they had decorated for Mother’s Day. They played games, won prizes, and enjoyed a schoolwide gathering with donuts.

The largest Reform congregation in the area, Beth Israel is a warm and welcoming home to generations of families who play a vital and integral part in synagogue life. Accommodating to all types of modern Jewish families, Beth Israel welcomes members wherever they may be found on their personal Jewish journey.
