Going Places with Dina Guzzardo
The Steel Pier presents three days of endless fresh seafood and non-stop music, shopping, and entertainment at the Atlantic City Seafood and Music Festival at Bader Field (545 North Albany Avenue) from June 24th through June 26th. Activities will kick off on Friday the 24th from 4 pm until 9 pm.
There will be live music from Teddi Fusco between 4 and 6 pm, followed by The Cranked Up Country Band from 6:30 until 9 pm. Then, Saturday will get rockin’ a bit earlier at 11 am, just in time to enjoy a delicious seafood lunch with the Killer B’s, a 5-piece band who will be performing a mix of danceable classic rock music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. At 3 pm, Jimmy and the Parrots, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band, will take the stage to serenade the crowd with some of the artist’s most popular tunes until 6 pm. Finishing on the stage on Saturday will be a tribute to the Eagles from 6:30 until 9 pm.
Glenn Roberts Band opens Sunday’s performances with their country music set from 11 am until 1 pm. Then, E Street Shuffle, a Springsteen tribute band, will begin at 1:30, playing a selection of his greatest hits until 4:30 pm. From 5-8 pm the wildly popular, Sensational Soul Cruisers will close out the weekend’s entertainment by playing a mix of classic soul, Motown, and disco tunes.
A huge range of seafood vendors will be in attendance as well as non-seafood choices, including burrito bowls, shaved ice, and much more. This event has been highly anticipated since it was first announced. “We can’t wait for the AC Seafood Festival. We love seafood festivals! Throughout the weekend, be sure to check out the different bars, featuring beer gardens, frozen alcoholic drinks, draft beer, full-service liquor bars, kid’s smoothies, and various soft drinks/sodas. Some of the best seafood vendors on the East Coast will be in attendance and cooking up a storm using the freshest seafood, straight from the Atlantic Ocean.
Not only will there be great food and amazing bands, but there will also be an array of incredible shopping and entertainment. If retail therapy is your thing, you will have the opportunity to shop vendors offering crafts, jewelry, art, home décor, and more! Get a bird’s eye view of Atlantic City with Lehigh Valley Hot Air as they will provide one of a kind hot air balloon experiences for only $25 for adults and $20 for kids. There will be plenty of activities for the kids, including a Kid’s Zone, pony rides, characters from movies such as Trolls, and face painting. The event is pet friendly, so you can bring your furry pals with you to enjoy.
There are two ticketing options available: general admission and VIP. General admission is free on Friday and only $11 per day Saturday and Sunday. General admission gets you into the festival to watch live music and purchase goods from all the different food and retail vendors. Children 12 and under will get free general admission all weekend. VIP access starts at $35 per day for guests aged 5-12, $55 for guests aged 13-21, and $80 for guests aged 21 and over. As well as entry into the festival, the VIP ticket will give you access to the VIP tent with an open bar (guests under 21 will enjoy bottomless non-alcoholic beverages); an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet including platters of crab legs, shrimp, fish, and chips, mac and cheese, and much more; private restrooms; and a premium viewing area of the main stage.

Parking is available onsite for only $10, and you are welcome to bring lawn chairs to use while you watch the live music.
