Earlier this month, Boba Works was contacted to create a scale-model gingerbread house of the Knife & Fork Inn in Atlantic City.

“It sounded like a pretty intriguing project so I was immediately drawn to it. It also required a lot of finer details so it took awhile. Since it was a scale model, the first thing I did was get a lot of reference material for it from photos to satellite imagery. I then drafted it in CAD so that I could get exact to-scale dimensions of the building. The next step was to create the templates for the gingerbread to ensure that it has the correct shapes in 3-D ,” describes Boba Works.

“Although it took awhile, it was a pretty fun project that reminded me of the old days when I would work on a lot of really intricate cakes and large scale designs.”
