40th Anniversary Celebration of Eddie and the Cruisers

Beaver Brown Beach Concert

When the late summer concert season at the Jersey Shore arrives, great things happen!

The exciting news is that no less than Sylvester Stallone and Frank Stallone have become indirectly involved in the 40th anniversary celebration of Eddie and the Cruisers, scheduled to begin Wednesday Aug31st at Kennedy Plaza in Atlantic City when John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band perform the first of their two concert celebrations, performing the original hits from the soundtrack of “Eddie and the Cruisers.”

Remarkably, Sylvester Stallone reached out to John Cafferty to request he perform at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Friday night September 2, following his performance on the beach in Somers Point.

In order to work with the Stallone’s, the Beaver Brown Concert will begin at 6:30pm on Friday September 2 at the Somers Point Beach. John Cafferty will perform a full 75 minute set including everyone’s favorite songs, “Wild Summer Nights”, “On The Dark Side”, and the immortal sounds of Michael “Tunes” Antunes on “ Tender Years”.

Then John Cafferty and Beaver Brown will be whisked from the Somers Point Beach to the Hard Rock Casino to perform at the Frank Stallone concert at 9pm.

Somers Point music fans and concert guests do not need to worry however; the Tony Mart Allstars will take the stage at 8pm to perform the “Music that made Tony Mart’s famous” from Bill Haley, Conway Twitty and Del Shannon’s “Runaway”, all the way to Bob Dylan and The Band.

A warmly popular tribute to the greatest hits from the biggest stars who performed in Somers Point and made history in the late 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

Hold on. This will be a wild ride! Let the good times roll!
