3rd Annual Chip Miller Skate Fest

Dozens of skateboarders, young and old, took to Ocean City Skatepark Saturday, July 27th for a day of friendly competition to support the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation. CMAF raisies awareness and supports research initiatives for those affected by amyloidosis. The Foundation was created in memory of Chip Miller, who died from amyloidosis in 2004 and is headed up by his son, Lance Miller.

The event was ’80s themed and prizes included boards, wheels, trucks, T-shirts and hats, all donated by the event sponsor, Sector 9.

The Chip Miller Foundation also held its 16th annual Surf Fest last week at the Seventh Street beach.
