Speaking of Opportunity….. Preparing For Mx-treme Close Up!

May 2018 not only marks my return to business column writing with an awesome opportunity in Shore Local, it also marks the launch of the new television program “South Jersey Business with Joe Molineaux”. When I pitched the show to the Stockton University Team last year I had no idea it would become the program that is now airing on The Stockton Channel on Comcast Channel 9.
I owe a tremendous amount of gratitude to President Harvey Kesselman for his encouragement when I first brought up the idea of a program focusing on educating the business community and potential entrepreneurs in what I hoped was an entertaining offering. The support that the Dean of Arts and Humanities Lisa Honaker, as well as each of the individuals that worked to help create the show, has shown has been nothing short of amazing.
There was such a tremendous learning curve to take over a dozen years of radio experience, content development and delivery including a career of consulting, public speaking and training and fit it into a half hour of television. When you have a talented and seasoned Director like Stockton’s Michael Zubrzycki and two semesters full of talented Stockton Communication Interns it helped to make the “work” that went into every segment that much easier. The time and energy everyone put into each show is appreciated.
You will be reading about upcoming guests in every issue of Shore Local and of course seeing the shows as they premiere each week on The Stockton Channel Comcast Channel 9, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 PM and again Saturdays and Sundays at 9:30 AM. In addition, you can watch the program on the web once the episode has aired on The Stockton Channel.
Beyond the guest interviews, that include a business spotlight and each guest answering “The M4 Big Money Question”, each program offers a business “Helping the Community” and a “Stockton University Connection” along with a Business Drill and a Q & A segment.
I hope you enjoy watching the show as much as we enjoy creating it. Keep in mind this is truly an entrepreneurial endeavor and in my humble opinion I feel each show gets better.
