Students in preschool through grade 6 got a close-up look at the Torah at a recent Sunday school session at Beth Israel. Rabbi Michael L. Feshbach led the T’fillah (prayer) service, inviting students to take part throughout. When it came time for the Torah reading, he brought everyone up to the bimah to see the Hebrew words and learn more about this sacred text, which teaches Jewish law and tradition.
