Casino Association President Will Discuss State of the Industry At PR Council of Greater Atlantic City’s Jan. 31 Meeting

The Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic’s first meeting of 2024 will focus on the state of the casino gaming industry with a presentation by Mark Giannantonio, President of The Casino Association of New Jersey and President & CEO of Resorts Casino Hotel.

Members of the public are invited to attend the talk, “A View from the Top: The State of the Casino Gaming Industry,” from 11:45 a.m. – 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Horizon Ballroom, Resorts Casino Hotel.

Giannantonio will discuss what the industry foresees for the future, recent trends, as well as 2024 predictions and objectives. He will elaborate on the opportunities and challenges Atlantic City’s gaming industry faces in light of proposals for New York casinos, and the actions Atlantic City will need to take to maintain a sustainable economy with gaming and non-gaming attractions.

Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5. Guests will receive a voucher for discounted parking in the self-park garage.

A lifetime Atlantic County resident, Mark Giannantonio has led the The Casino Association of New Jersey since August 2022 and boasts more than 35 years of Atlantic City gaming expertise, joining Resorts, where he currently serves as President & CEO, in September 2012.

Prior to that Giannantonio was a Senior Gaming Consultant with Spectrum Gaming, and has held various executive positions in the casino industry, including President & CEO of Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City.
