Ocean City Chamber of Commerce ‘Salute to Working Women’ set for April 26

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce announced that Gloria Votta, a seasoned Realtor at Re/Max At the Shore with over 20 years experience, will receive the 2023 Salute to Working Women Award and will be honored at the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on April 26th at the Ocean City Yacht Club. The award recognizes women in business for their outstanding professional and personal achievements.

“We are very happy to honor Gloria as our 2023 Salute to Working Women,” says Michele Gillian, Executive Director of the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce. “She has a passion for serving her customers and Ocean City community. We are lucky to have her so involved in our community and she certainly is deserving of this honor.”

Gloria, her husband Hank, and her rescued fur baby—Vinnie, reside in Ocean City, NJ. She has worked in real estate since 2001 and is actively involved with her local board, Ocean City Board of REALTORS®. She was honored with the Realtor® of the Year Award in 2013, served on the Board in various positions, and served as President in 2015 she is knowledgeable in all things Ocean City as a Realtor® and resident. 

Barbara Jones, will be the keynote speaker and is currently President & CEO of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.  Barbara is Treasurer of the American Bio Recovery Association.  She serves on the Coast Guard Community Foundation Board.  She formerly served on the Board of the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce and also served on the First Legislative District Economic Development Task Force formed by then Senator Jeff Van Drew.  She was a Board member with the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce for many years and actively served on the Women in Business Committee.  

The luncheon will honor all working women at home or in the workforce on Wednesday, April 26th at noon at the Ocean City Yacht Club. The luncheon is open to the public and is $30 per person.
