Ricardo Arjona is one the most successful and best-selling Latin American artists in the world, with a slew of multiplatinum songs and GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominations to his name. Nicknamed ‘El Animal Nocturno’ after the breakthrough success of his album of the same name, Arjona is primarily a Latin pop artist, but his repertoire includes rock, pop rock, Cuban, a blend of Tejano and Norteño music and even a cappella. This socially conscious artist keeps hits like Como Duele coming and he’s bringing them to Jersey with his BLANCO Y NEGRO: VOLVER tour. Get ready for a powerful show filled with incredibly artistry and electrifying performances from a man who excels with pushing musical boundaries.
With a stunning (and stunningly versatile) contralto considered one of the best voices in the biz, GRAMMY® winner Jazmine Sullivan is not just an exceptional talent – she is a whole VIBE! This incredible R&B/soul powerhouse has captivated audiences around the world and certainly made her mark on the music industry, collaborating on projects and sharing stages with everyone from Snoop Dogg to Missy Elliott to Ne-Yo. Her ability to effortlessly cross genres, including R&B, soul, jazz, and hip-hop, has earned her critical acclaim and numerous awards.
Joining Jazmine Sullivan is 6-time GRAMMY®-nominated and BET- and NAACP Image award-winning R&B/soul artist Jhene Aiko, whose sultry, ethereal voice and evocative lyricism provide a perfect complement to Sullivan’s depth and earthy style. She has collaborated on projects with Childish Gambino, The Chainsmokers, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Drake, and many more.
Singer/Songwriter Queen Naija hailed as “the first soul star of the social media generation” by The New York Times, the Detroit native has amassed over three billion combined global streams to date. She has collaborated with Big Sean, opened for Mary J. Blige, and worked with Babyface on his latest album.
Singer/Songwriter Ebony Riley opens this special performance, joining the ranks of these R&B powerhouses.
