The Natural Dye Club meets monthly on the last Thursday evening of the month to experiment with a different natural dye process. Noyes staff will provide information about each natural dye used, a tutorial for creating the dye bath, a material list, and references to other artwork and fine craft. Jacob Lawrence Mural Dedication & Reception

Join the Atlantic City Arts Foundation as they dedicate a mural honoring Jacob Lawrence, followed by a brief reception in the cafeteria for light refreshments. The three-piece mural was created by Kenneth Lazan Faulk, Jr., John Morris, and Chanelle Rene and was completed with the participation of young artists from the Leadership in Training program.

Ocean City Library Fall Concert Series

This week, join the Package Goods Orchestra for a fun night as they explore traveling songs. The group will feature music from a variety of artists telling stories of road and rail. Trail or Two Cities 5K/Walk

9th St. Bridge from Ocean City to Somers Point

The race will start at the Transportation Center in Ocean City at 9th St. & Haven Ave. Packet pickup and late entry begins at 7 a.m. Buses will be available at the finish line at JFK Park in Somers Point to transport runners before the race until 7:30 a.m. and back to O.C. at the conclusion of the race, The finish and awards ceremony will be held at JFK Park. Run for the Animals 5K

Join Marine Mammal Stranding Center for the return of their in-person 5k run. Come out this Halloween weekend and run (or walk) in a costume while enjoying some fresh fall air and friendly competition to support marine mammals and sea turtles.
