The National Rhythm & Blues Music Society Inc. inducts artists into the first ‘Walk of Fame’

The National Rhythm & Blues Music Society Inc. inducted artists into the first “Walk of Fame” in Atlantic City today, April 24, at Brighton Park, in Atlantic City.

Inductees honored:
•Award Winning Artist and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, James Brown •“The Godfather Of Soul”, Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer, Little Anthony & The Imperials •Grammy Award Winner, The Delfonics
•Grammy Award Winner Grover Washington Jr.

Appearing to accept the honors were: Anthony “Little Anthony” Gourdine Ernest Wright and Sammy Strain of Little Anthony & The Imperials, Wilbert “Wil” Hart of The Delfonics (The last surviving member), James Brown’s daughter Deanna Brown and Grover Washington’s daughter Shana Washington.

The National Rhythm & Blues Music Society Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving, promoting and honoring classic soul/R&B music and the legends of the 60s, 70s, & 80s that paved the way for artists today.
