For this Experience we ventured out to Mays Landing and Freddy J’s Bar & Kitchen.
We had heard about their smoked meats and when we arrived in the parking lot that beautiful aroma greeted us.
After deliberating on the menu we started out w/a couple of creative cocktails: a Summer Lovin’: Titos Vodka, Coconut Cartel Pineapple juice & Grenadine~refreshing!
Also, the Blueberry Crush: Tito’s Vodka, Blueberry Syrup, lime juice & simple syrup~a unique blend of flavors.
Our food product choices came from the from the handheld & the entrée menu.
She selected the “Smoked Brisket Cheesesteak:: House-smoked brisket, sauteed peppers & onions, Bourbon BBQ sauce, Cooper Sharp American cheese sauce & toasted long roll, generous portions & this raises the bar on my take on a cheesesteak, Yummy!
My turn, I went with Mom-Mom’s Smoked Meatloaf: House-smoked ground beef, sausage peppers & onions, Bourbon BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes, baked beans & cornbread w/honey butter~ This was a home-run & the ultimate in Bar Comfort Food!!
For the grand finale we shared the “S’mores Bread Pudding”, OMG, sooo delicious!!
Generous portions, everything craveable!
Our server/bartender Maggie was warm, welcoming & attentive.
